Summer is just around the corner and there is no better way to welcome the hottest season of the year than by participating in the 19th edition of Notte Rosa – The Pink Night, the famous ‘New Year’s Eve of the Italian Summer’. This event attracts millions of tourists to the Riviera every year for a weekend of fun, great events, concerts and a breathtaking fireworks display to be enjoyed by the sea.

The Pink Night is a format that continues to be more and more successful year after year, attracting more and more visitors. This year The Pink Night will take place from 5 to 7 July 2024 and the organisation has prepared a programme full of events to suit all tastes.

The claim of this year is created by Claudio Cecchetto for the 19th edition of the New Year’s Eve of the Italian Summer: “Weekend Dance”. Romagna will turn into the biggest dance floor in Italy.  It will be a Pink Night in the sign of dance in its various forms and meanings: from folk rhythms to sports dance, from country to ballroom dancing, from disco dance to hip hop, from rock to indie hop, passing through the world of clubbing and discos.

Moreover, there will be initiatives dedicated to telling the story of the Romagna dance district that was very popular in Europe in the 1980s and 1990s, and exhibitions on the history of dance on the Riviera, DJs, and the future of music. The journey starts with one of the symbols of the “romagnolità”: the tradition of the ballroom dance, that is the soundtrack of Romagna, connects every generation. 2024 is the 70th anniversary of Romagna Mia, a pillar in the history of Italian and Romagna music, an emblem of the union between music and dance, live performances and flash mobs.

The fireworks display that will light up the night sky by the sea at midnight on 6 July is an event not to be missed. This is a magic moment that offers a fantastic views of the lights and colours, creating an unforgettable experience.

A great collective celebration, which will see the whole of Romagna go wild until sunrise, along the 110 km of coastline (and more) between the provinces of Rimini, Forlì-Cesena, Ravenna and Ferrara, from the beach to the hills, from clubs to places of art, with free concerts featuring big names in national and international music, artistic installations, exhibitions, fireworks, shows and magical scenery. Everything will become pink!
