A special guided tour every last Saturday of the month allows everyone to discover the rich historical heritage of Gambaluga Library in the old town of the city of Rimini.
Gambalunga is the first Italy’s civic library, and it is recognized as one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. It is a true hidden treasure of the city.
Access to the ancient rooms of the 17th-century Gambalunga Palace is a memorable event. The rooms hide prestigious and precious furnitures, ancient world map with maps and great old texts.
The visit shows an important page of the Rimini’s history and the main character is the founder of the library, Alessandro Gambalunga, and the love of the many librarians, who have followed and are following one another, and work in this place.
